New netball courts
PA Auckland Netballers taking part in the national tournament in Auckland next year should have an extra three courts to play on. The president of the Auckland Netball Association, Carol Craighead, expects work on the courts to start in February and they
should be ready for play by
the August tournament. The courts will be added to those already existing in Windmill Rd, Epsom, bringing the total number to 15. Plans for the courts were originally drawn up in 1974, but were shelved for cost reasons. They will now cost about $lOO,OOO.
