NZPA-Reuter Mexico City John McEnroe, bad boy of the Australian Open just over a week ago, clowned his way through an exhibition match yesterday for Mexican earthquake victims. The world No. 2 helped to raise SUSBO,OOO ($151,200) for those affected by last September’s earthquakes which
killed about 7000 people. .He laughed and joked with his opponent, Jose Luis Clerc, of Argentina, on his way to a 6-3, 6-4, win. McEnroe was supended for 21 days after throwing a tantrum at the Australian Open 10 days ago, but the ban was waived to allow him to play yesterday for a good cause.
