NZPA-AAP Adelaide A century to David Boon has put Australia in a commanding position at the end of the first day in the first test against India at Adelaide Oval. Boon scored 123 yesterday to lead the Australian assault along with Greg Ritchie, who scored an •unbeaten half-century, and the captain Allan Border who made 49.
