Jahangir Khan ... yet again
NZPA-Reuter Muscat Jahangir Khan provided further evidence on Thursday evening to show he could be considered the greatest squash player of all time.
The world champion, aged 22, beat New Zealand’s Ross Norman 9-2, 9-5, 9-1, in a 48-irrinute final at the Al Falaj world Grand Prix tournament in Muscat with awesome poise and style. Norman, one of the toughest competitors in the
game, played well enough to have overcome any of the other top players in the world, but not' Jahangir, who beat him in this year’s United States, Canadian and World Open finals.
Jahangir was in charge throughout on his way to winning the first prize of $11,992. He has won so many titles since his last defeat, by a former world champion, Geoff Hunt, in April 1981, that he has lost count.
