J m "■■ -• CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL CITY DOGS ENTERING RURAL DISTRICTS OR OTHER LOCAL AUTHORITY AREAS IT IS THE responsibility of dog owners to have their dogs treated for hydatids during the period of 42 days prior to their being taken outside city boundaries. To assist dog owners to fulfill this responsibility, the Council’s dog control officers will be available on all working days from Friday, December 6, until Friday, January 10, 1986 (both dates Inclusive). Owners requiring hydatids treatment for their dogs prior to Christmas are therefore requested to make appointments by telephoning 791-660 ext. 404 not later than 48 hours prior to the desired date of treatment For hydatids treatment required on December 30 and 31,1985, and for the week January 6 to 10,1986, the service will be available only at the City Dog Shelter, Comer Ruru Road and Dyers Road, Bromley, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12 noon and 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., when a dog control officer will be in attendance. Normal services will continue from January 13, 1986. A certificate of treatment, which must accompany the dog when it leaves the city, will be issued or updated by the officer at the time of treatment JOHN GRAY, General Manager and Town Clerk.
