‘Spitting Image’ returns
A second series of Britain’s “Spitting Image” begins on One this evening, in the pre-“12 O’clock Rock” comedy slot For those who missed it first time round, “Spitting Image” is a satirical sketch show featuring life-size caricature puppets of famous people.
The programme has been a huge hit in Britain, though it brought a mixed reaction from the people being caricatured. The rock star, Mick Jagger, is reported to be a huge fan of the show, though it does not treat him at all kindly. Politicians tend to keep very quiet about it whole thing. So too do the Royal family, but their devoted public have been known to take up the cudgels on their behalf.
