Arrest on theft charge
A man will face a theft charge after allegedly taking a video recorder from the back of a truck in Christchurch yesterday. The video was taken from a truck parked outside a Noel Leeming appliance
shop, said a spokesman for the Christchurch police. The driver of the truck was taking goods into the shop at the time. A witness, however, saw the thief drive away after putting a video, in his car.
