Strong women’s XI
PA Wellington North Shore, runner up to Canterbury for the last three years, has a strong side to compete in the national women’s cricket tournament at Christchurch next month. Seven New Zealand representatives and two former national players are included in the North Shore side for the tourney. The side, to be led by the former Canterbury and current New Zealand skipper, Debbie Hockley, is:— D. Hockley, J. Dunning, L. Fraser, S. Rattray, D. Sim, L. Simpson, I. Jagersma, D. Cobb, K. Molloy, E. Badham, K. Robert, L. Johnson, L. Moore.
