Early delivery
Sir, — How come I received a milk delivery of three bottles with tops dated November 20 on the eve of November 17? Of what value is this type of consumer protection? — Yours, etc., E. ORR. November 18, 1985.
[Mr B. T. Neave, general manager of Metropolitan Milk (Christchurch), Ltd, comments: “On this particular day the milk filler operator inserted the incorrect date for the milk bottle stamp — purely a mistake on our part, for which we apologise.”]
