Sir, — With the never-ending talk about amalgamation, it is of great interest to hear that the citizens, of Mount Pleasant and Taylors Mistake want to withdraw from the city and join Heathcote. This is almost the antithesis of amalgamation. The one step further they could take is to form their own council, including Redcliffs, Sumner and Taylors Mistake. This would be common sense because of the geographic location. — Yours, etc., ROBIN BOOTH. December 2, 1985.
