PA Wellington ’ Lotto has received the * nod of approval from “ national recreation and sport organisation administrators in a series of regional meetings. The concept of Lotto, to be introduced to fund re- u creation and sport, had created overwhelming support, the director of the New Zealand Council for Recreation and Sport, Bruce ' Stokell, said yesterday. Mr Stokell said the level of sport funding had stayed at ssm since 1975, a situation he described as “scandalous”
