Regina accepts
The directors of Oamarubased Regina Confections Ltd have accepted the bid by Charter Corp Ltd to acquire the 30 per cent of Regina it does not already own. They said yesterday that they had considered the offer and received independent advice on it. They were unanimous in recommending the offer and said they would be accepting it themselves. The “don’t sell” notice imposed when the bid was announced last week has thus been withdrawn. Hong Kong Impala Pacific shares changed hands yesterday for SHKI4.OO and Industrial Equity Pacific shares closed at 3HK29.50.
