The chief manager of the Prudential Assurance Company (New Zealand), Mr Boyd Klap, has been elected chairman of the Life Offices’ Association. He succeeds Mr 0. Vivanti. Isthmus up Mexico is to raise the export price of its Ught-tvpe Isthmus oil, used principally for making gasoline and similar fuels, by an average of JNZI.32 a barrel.
