Make a herb pillow

You will need: Herbs and petals. A small tray. A piece of cotton material about 15cm by 20cm and a slightly larger piece of material. Needle and thread.

Method: 1. Collect scented rose petals, lavender heads when the flowers have finished; mint; rosemary and verbena. You need enough to cover the tray. 2. Keep the tray in your

airing-cupboard. Dry the flowers and leaves as you collect them. Take them out as they dry. It will take three or four days.

3. Make a bag from the piece of cotton, leaving one end open so you can stuff it with the herbs and flowers. When it is full, sew up the edge.

4. Make another bag with the other piece of material. Leave one end open and slip in the herb pillow. Sew ends together.
