Mr Brixton is county manager of the Opotiki County Council and was

formerly county treasurer for Malvern. His initial appointment will be as chief executive officer and he will assume the post of chief executive officer-county clerk on July 1, ISBB, when the present County Clerk, Mr Perrin, retires. Mr Perrin has been Malvern’s County Clerk for 22 years. He has also been clerk of the Selwyn and Mackenzie council councils. He has spent 40 years as a local body officer. Mr Perrin intends to retire in Darfield. Mowing charges The practice of charging
