Church group assembles
More than 1000 Jehovah’s Witnesses and friends attended a<two-day assembly at Canterbury Court, Christchurch, at the week-end. They came from as far afield as the West Coast. An Australian, Mr Mervyn King, who is the New Zealand district overseer for Jehovah’s Witnesses, was the main speaker.
