Stabbed man dies
PA Auckland A masked intruder stabbed a middle-aged South. Auckland man to death and wounded two others in their home last evening. Detectives called in tracker dogs to help search for the attacker, who fled the Papakura house after the fight. The police said the man, described as a Maori, aged
about 18, and masked by a balaclava, entered the house through a back door at 8 p.m. “He had a fight with three men in the house and stabbed each of the men between one and two times each,” a police spokesman said. ; The homicide victim, a man, aged about 50, died later from his wounds. The two other victims were taken to hospital.
