Show Day will be Nov. 15
The date of Show Day this year has some Christchurch people confused. The Canterbury A. and P. Show will begin this year on November 13 and Show Day will be Friday, November 15.
Many people thought that Show Day was always on the second Friday in November but this was wrong, said the association’s secretary, Mr Noel Woods, yesterday. The formula for calculating Show Day is constant. It is always the third Friday after Labour Day, which itself is always tne fourth Monday in October. This year the show is the latest in November it can be.
