Positions are being offered in our fire and structural engineering group. WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Two structural engineers and one research scientist j with the motivation to work in a multidisciplinary j research environment. j STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS 1 CANDIDATES WILL BE either graduates or recently registered civil/structural engineers, or structural ; engineers aged 30 to 35 with preferably building j design and construction experience in New Zealand, i The functions of the positions include: j © Carrying out investigations of structural prob- j lems and failures in buildings. , © Conducting research programmes. < ® Carrying out assessments and assisting in the i development of new products. j © Supervising commissioned testing programmes for industry. . © Providing information on fire or structural engineering matters for other staff and for inquiries from the industry. I @ Presenting talks/seminars and preparing publications. | SCIENTIST I CANDIDATES WILL be science graduates with a physics and/or chemistry background aged between 20 and 30 years.
