CLOSURE OF STATE HIGHWAY 74 CHRISTCHURCH LYTTELTON ROAD TUNNEL TO ORDINARY VEHICULAR TRAFFIC PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is hereby given that for the purpose of the Christchurch Cyclists’ Association’s Spring Cycle Ride, State Highway 74, Christchurch Lyttelton Road Tunnel will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the periods indicated hereunder. During the periods of closure the following provision will be made for ordinary’vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the Road Tunnel. Periods of closure 11.00 a.m. to 11.10 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 2.45 p.m. on Sunday, September 1, 1985. Alternative provisions for ordinary vehicular traffic will be via Sumner and Evans Pass. It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised permit to use the Road Tunnel for ordinary vehicular traffic during the periods of closure.
