College rugby
With only one or two games left to play in the Christchurch school rugby competition, Saturday’s games served only to consolidate the standings already determined. C.B.H.S. A met St Andrews in an encounter which produced a number of lost opportunities for both
sides. St Andrews won 60 per cent of the possession, but was unable to convert it into points. C.B.H.S. managed to post the only points of the match, Chris Percy notching two penalty goals, to win, 6-0. The other match of the day produced a convincing win to Christ’s College over Cashmere High, 66-0.
