Canty wins two titles in national cross country

Canterbury won the junior men’s and women’s titles and finished second in the senior men’s and senior women’s events in the Countrywide national cross country running championships in Invercargill on Saturday. The senior men’s 12km race was won- by Ken Moloney, ,pf Auckland, who cleaned up' a' strong field' in the. ..Skellerup Steeples race in Christchurch last, month but did nbt .compete in. the Auckland championships a fortnight later because of a minor achill.es tendbn injury.
