Permission for two bedrooms
Permission to build two; bedrooms on to a house in Birch Street, designated for the Woolston-Burwood expressway, was given by the Christchurch City Council yesterday. | Mrs Geraldine Campbell had applied to add two bedrooms. Under the designation conditions a temporary building permit can be granted. The house is for sale. The City Planner, Mr Bill Williams, reported to the council’s town-planning committee that the house would not be needed until the year 2000 and that the proposed additions would not significantly affect the designation.
