Billiards veteran wins
NZPA-AP New Delhi Bob Marshall, aged 74, an Australian billiards veteran, has beaten the fourth seed, Latif Amir Bux, of Pakistan, 1347-1325 today in the twenty-fifth world amateur billiards championships in New Delhi. The second seed, Subhash
Agarwal, of India, meanwhile, set a world record by scoring 1788 in a two-hour session under the new two point rule. He thrashed Hugo Nimmo, of Scotland, 2885-896. In another encounter, Russell Robinson of New Zealand beat Sam Clarke of Northern Ireland 1239-875.
