Robbing man of boots admitted

A youth admitted in the High Court yesterday a charge of robbing a man of his leather boots in his home on April 7, and was remanded in custody to August 2 for sentence. The accused, Andrew Daniels, aged 17, had been scheduled to be tried by jury on the charge. He had been jointly charged with three other men with robbing, while armed with a knife, Brent John Rossiter, a garden

labourer, of his leather boots valued at $BO. Mr Justice Holland remanded Daniels in custody pending sentence. Mr G. K. Panckhurst appeared for the Crown and Mr A. N. D. Garrett for Daniels. Two other men who had been jointly charged with Daniels with the robbery were discharged at the preliminary hearing in the District Court in June.
