The successful applicant will assist line managers with the selection and recruitment of staff from both within New Zealand and overseas — knowledge of relevant awards, industrial legislation, and appropriate immigration requirements and procedures will be important. The position requires strong administrative and organisational ability to initiate and maintain appropriate personnel systems and records. The co-ordination of hotel staff training requirements and appropriate training programs, is a major responsibility and applicants should be familiar with the H.C.1.T.8. services and operation. The Personnel Officer reports to the Operations Manager — it is a sole charge role. The location Is Wellington City.
