Venturecorp
Venturecorp Investments, Ltd, which will be listed on the Stock Exchange today, it has made a substantial investment in Tagland (N.Z.), Ltd, an Auckland-based animal ear tag manufacturer which sells the Circle “O” system. No financial details of the purchase were given. Venturecorp said the Tagland system was first exhibited at the National Field Days in June, 1983, and that at that time with no advertising the company sold more than 20,000 units. In 1984 sales doubled and since then further testing of the tags had resulted in a more refined product.
