Robbers sentenced

PA Wellington Three men convicted in relation to the aggravated robbery of a man at Petone were sentenced in the High Court at Wellington yesterday to periodic detention. Mr Justice Eichelbaum said the margins of culpability between them were not large. Robin Lyndsay Ward, aged 23, a shop manager, was sentenced to 12 months periodic detention for aggravated robbery and injuring with intent. On the charge of aggravated robbery he was disqualified from driving for 12 months. Robert John Sloan, aged 21, unemployed, was sentenced to 12 months periodic detention for aggravated robbery and unlawfully taking a motor-
