Calcutta project
An education and work centre for poor women in Calcutta has been set up by a group of international women’s organisations. These are the Associated Country Women of the World, the International Federation of Business and Professional Women, the International Council of. Women, the International Federation ■ of University Women, and Soroptimist International. The Calcutta centre also helps women to upgrade their general standard of living by training them in, family welfare, health and' nutrition, environmental hygiene, and child care.
