Video theft warning
The Hornby C. 1.8. has asked for help from the public in an inquiry into the theft of video recorders valued at $43,500 from a Sockburn freight-forwarding company’s premises at the week-end. The police believe that the 29 Autocrat V.T.C.model videos will be sold at some stage. They have warned buyers to beware of offers of low-price deals. Anyone who might be able to help the investigation has been asked to get in touch with the Hornby C. 1.8. The theft is believed to be the biggest of video recorders in Christchurch.
