Japan names Ambassador
NZPA-AFP Tokyo Japan has named Mr Seiichi Omori, a career diplomat, aged 57, as its new Ambassador to New Zealand, the Foreign Ministry says.
Mr Omori joined the Foreign Ministry in 1950 and held such posts as director-general of the Ministry’s treaty bureau and consul-general in Vancouver, Canada.
