Praise for TVNZ
Wellington reporter Parliament, in a rare moment of unanimity, yesterday congratulated Television New Zealand on the success of this year’s Telethon. More than ?6 million was raised for the Child and Youth Development Fund and both the Acting Prime Minister, Mr Palmer, and the Leader of the Opposition, Mr McLay, felt congratulations were in order.
