Reserves’ first tour match
PA Ashburton The six reserves who watched their teammates beat Mid-Canterbury 56-0 at Ashburton on Sunday will play in the New Zealand Emerging Players match against Wairarapa-Bush at Masterton on Wednesday. lan Wood, the Manawatu centre who is a strong contender for the All Black tour of South Africa, Matene Love and Bruce Deans get their first run in the backs and Glynn Meads,
McDowell and Bruce Hemara will have their first tour game in the forwards. The Emerging Players team is: Brent McKenzie, joe Leota, Terry Wright, lan Wood.
