Life ban for five players
NZPA-Reuter Sofia Bulgaria’s Football Association yesterday banned for life five players, including two internationals, and suspended four others as further punishment for the Bulgarian Cup final brawl which has already led to the disbanding of the country’s two leading clubs. An official statement said that Levski Spartak internationals, goalkeeper Bor-
islav Mikhailov, aged 22, and defender Plamen Nikolov, aged 27, were banned for life with teammates Emil Velev and Emil Spassov. Cska player Khristo Stoichev was also barred for life.
Levski Spartak inter-) national Nasko Sirakov was. suspended for a year with team-mate Miroslav Baichev and Cska’s Vassil Tinchev.
