Datacom changes
Dr G. B. Battersby has been appointed chairman of Datacom Group, Ltd, following the retirement of Mr H. F. Redmond. Succeeding him as chief executive of the company on July 1, is Mr P. M. Hargreaves, who with Dr Battersby was co-founder of Datacom 20 years ago (originally Computer Bureau, Ltd, later CBL). Mr D. P. Page continues as group general manager of Datacom Group. Mr G. A. Mac Gibbon is appointed to the new position of managing director, Datacom Systems, Ltd, and Mr R. P. Quayle is managing direcotr of Datacom Equipment, Ltd.
