Plessey expands
A British electronic company, Plessey, has formed a new company for its telecommunications interests in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific basin. It had established Plessey Pacific Telecommunications, Ltd, in Sydney to focus on manufacturing, marketing, and engineering activities, particularly for future developments in Australia and New Zealand. The new company is a subsidary of Plessey Pacific Pty, Ltd, and encompasses the activities of two existing businesses, Plessey Australia, Pty, Ltd, and Plessey Communications Systems, Pty, Ltd.
