Public Notices A North Canterbury Catchment Board & Regional Water Board SPECIAL ORDER DIRECTING THE MAKING, LEVYING AND COLLECTION OF RATES NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting held on May 31, 1985, the North Canterbury Catchment Board resolved by way of Special Order pursuant to the powers contained in the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, directing the making, levying and collection of rates for the year ending March 31, 1986. ADMINISTRATIVE RATE An administrative rate on the Capital Value of all rateable property within the meaning of the Rating Act 1967 or Its equivalent on the Unimproved or Annual Value of all such rateable property within the limits and jurisdiction of the several local bodies within the North Canterbury Catchment Board District for which the provisions of Part V of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 apply. Total Rate Levy: $2,480,900. SEPARATE WORKS RATES (A) Separate rates to be made, levied and collected on the Capital Value of all rateable property as defined in the respective Classification Lists for the following separate works rating districts: Total Rating Rate District Levy Walmakarlrl - Eyre - Cust $654,700 Ashley River $123,750 Sefton Ashley $8,300 Lake Ellesmere Drainage $BB,lOO Halswell River Drainage $155,000 Prices Valley Drainage $520 Selwyn River $41,800 (B) Separate rates to be made, levied and collected on an area basis as defined In the respective Classification Lists for the following separate rating districts: Total Rating Rate District Levy Lower Hurunul River $l,BOO Lyndon $6OO Waiau River Spotswood $3,320 Cleardale $4OO Rakaia Double Hill.. $2,000 The foregoing rates shall be for the period commencing April 1, 1985, and ending on March 31, 1986 and shall be payable In such sums on such dates as shall be fixed by the local body levying the same respectively. PUBLIC INSPECTION The above Special Order and details of the rating fractions applying will be available for Inspection at the Board’s office, corner Latimer Square and Worcester Street, Christchurch, during office hours Monday to Friday, 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m., until 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 1985. CONFIRMATION OF SPECIAL ORDER The above resolutions of the Board for the making, levying and collection of rates for the year ending March 31, 1986, will be referred to a Special Meeting of the Board to be held in the Board’s office, corner Latimer Square and Worcester Street, Christchurch, on Friday, June 28, 1985, at 9 a.m. for confirmation as a Special Order. TOTARANUI CAMPGROUND ABEL TASMAN NATIONAL PARK CHANGES to the booking system and charges: Camp fees $3 per night per adult $1.50 per night for school children There will now be a $5O or 50 per cent of total camp fees (whichever is the greater) deposit on all bookings, of which $5 is a non-returnable booking fee. The deposit will not be refunded unless 14 days advance notice of changes or cancellation of booking is given to Dept of Lands and Survey, Box 53, Takaka ph. 58026. If no cancellation is made and the party does not turn up a charge will be made for the full cost of the original booking. All bookings will be open to individual families or groups of up to five persons per application. Any difference in dates within these bookings for individual persons must be given at the time of application. Apply to Dept of Lands and Survey, Box 53, Takaka for new 1985/86 application forms. F.
