Work of Amnesty International
Sir, — Unfortunately people cannot be in two places at once. Thanks to the Timaru by-election and various other circumstances beyond on our control, the Amnesty International Benefit Revue mentioned by K. R. Barker (“The Press,” May 27) will no longer take place on June 8. But afficionados of Tom Scott, lan Fraser, McPhail and Gadsby, the Topp Twins and the rest need not lose heart: the show has only been postponed and will be widely announced when the new date is fixed. — Yours, etc., MAVIS AIREY, Concert co-ordinataor. May 27, 1985.
