Rugby attracts media
If media interest is any guide, it could be a full house at Lancaster Park on June 1 when the All Blacks and England meet in the first test. The Canterbury union was told at its meeting last evening that seats in the press area had been requested for 47 reporters, 16
of them from overseas. In addition, 17 photographers would be snapping the action. For both reporters and photographers this is an uncommonly large number and the secretary, Mr D. J. Cunningham, said that special arrangements would have to be made to accommodate them all.
