QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should have a Trained Teacher's Certificate or equivalent. Graduate teachers preferred for secondary level. Experience in multi-cultural institutions in the teaching of English as a second language would be an advantage. SALARY: Commencing salary will be commensurate with years of experience: Graduate: sAustB,32o - $11,050 per annum Certified: sAust7,sso - $11,050 per annum (salaries paid tax-free on Nauru). CONDITIONS: The initial contract is for two years and may be renewed by mutual consent. On appointment and on completion of contract, fares for the appointee and dependants under 18 years of age will be paid. Eight weeks recreational leave is granted at the completion of 22 months service with return fares to New Zealand also paid. General personal effects sea freight allowance of 4.5 cubic metres for a married appointee and 2 cubic metres for a single appointee is paid at commencement and completion of contract. BENEFITS: Housing, electricity, water and local telephone calls free. Furniture at a rental of $ Aust 12 per month (married) and sAust6 per month (single). Mess facilities provided for single appointee at Asl2o per month or on casual basis. Free medical and dental treatment on Nauru.
