Peninsula health seminar

A seminar on women’s health will be held at Duvauchelle on Friday. The day had been organised by the Banks Peninsula General Practice Association, and would include up to 80 women, said a spokesman for the association, Dr Martin London.

The morning session would be run in conjunction with the Family Planning Clinic’s education group. It would focus on pre-men-strual tension, menopause and female sexuality, he said.

The afternoon session, focusing on rural isolation, would be run by the Mental Health Foundation.
