Dewes parole extended

PA Auckland Ministerial approval has been given to extend the special parole of the dying convicted rapist, Henare Dewes, so that he need not return to prison. The Minister of Justice, Mr Palmer, considered new medical reports on Mr - Dewes, who has cancer, be- > fore adding an extra three ; months to his six-month i temporary release. •
