Building site incident investigated
A Labour Department safety officer is investigating an incident in which a sheet of iron fell from a construction site in Armagh Street and landed close to a passer-by. The incident was on Thursday, by the site of the new Bank of New Zealand building. The iron fell near a teenage girl who was crossing Armagh Street, but she escaped injury.
