Three league tests
PA Auckland The Kiwis will play three tests in a 18 match tour of Britain later this year, according to a tentative itinerary announced last night. New Zealand will also play the six top rugby league clubs in Britain, three counties, and an under-24 selection. Mr Ron McGregor, president of the New Zealand Rugby League, said that the itinerary was still tentative. No dates been confirmed. ?We have been waiting for
the exact dates, but it appears that the English Rugby League are having trouble in completing the arrangements with the television authorities in Britain.” The top clubs likely to meet the Kiwis are Hull, Hull Kingston Rovers, Leeds, Widnes, Wigan and St Helens. The county matches are expected to be against Cumbria, Yorkshire and Lancashire. The Kiwis will also play two tests in France in their tour from.Dctober to early December. ® '.®|
