Court winds up company
Microwave Consultants (5.1.), Ltd, a company incorporated in March, 1983, with a paid up capital of $22,500, was ordered to be wound up by Mr Justice Heron in the High Court yesterday. The petitioning creditor, Fairburn Wright, Ltd, proved a debt of $26,113 for microwave ovens and acces-
sories supplied since March, 1983.
Miss J. M. Drake, who appeared for Microwave Consultants, said that she was not in a position to offer any opposition to the petition. Mr K. G. Smith appeared for Fairburn Wright. The Broadcasting Cor-
poration of New Zealand claimed $l4OO for advertising from Microwave Consultants in a second petition for winding up. That petition was struck out and the corporation was awarded costs of $l5O. The Official Assignee, Mr I. A. Hansen, was appointed the provisional liquidator.
