P.M. to seek talks with Mr Shultz
PA Wellington The Prime Minister, Mr Lange, plans to seek a meeting with the United States Secretary of State, Mr George Shultz, when they attend an A.S.E.A.N. conference in July. Mr Lange said at a press conference yesterday that he would seek a meeting
with Mr Shultz to talk about the possibility of renewed co-operation, to “review our stances.” He will go to the meeting of regional Foreign Ministers in Kuala Lumpur, from July 11 to 13. The meeting will follow the annual conference of the Association of South-East Asian Nations on July 8 and 9.
