Services auctioned
PA New Plymouth A Taranaki Jockey Club auction of stallion services on Sunday raised $35,950 to assist in funding the club’s feature races in the 1986-87 season. The top price of the nine services up for auction was $6500 for an entitlement to Standaan. Other prices were: Ace of Aces $6OOO, Allgrit $1750, Imperial Seal $5OOO, Silver Blaze $1250, War Hawk $3OOO, Last Tango $4400, Licorice Stick $4OOO and Sound Reason $4250.
