N.Z.U. held to draw
NZPA staff correspondent London New Zealand Universities drew, 6-6, with a combined Cork and Galway students rugby side in wind and rain at Cork yesterday. The Irish leg of the 13match Universities European tour has proved to be a tough one, and the New Zealanders face a stern test against Combined Irish Universities at Dublin on Sunday morning (New Zealand time). With four tour wins be-
hind them, the New Zealand side again attempted to run the ball in the fifth game. Playing with a howling wind at its back, New Zealand took a 6-0 lead in the first half, through two penalty goals to the Massey first five-eighths, Paul Duncan. The Combined University College Cork and University College Galway team drew level 10 minutes into the second half with a converted try by Jim Crotty, a three-quarter.
