Umpires reappointed
PA Dunedin The Oamaru schoolteacher, George Morris, and Christchurch’s Fred Goodall are the umpires for the third cricket test between New Zealand and Pakistan starting at Carisbrook tomorrow. The appointments were announced yesterday by the New Zealand Cricket Coun-
cil. Messrs Goodall and Morris also officiated in the one-day international at Lancaster Park this week. The appointment for Mr Morris, aged 27, a teacher at St Kevin’s College, holds special significance. It will be his second test match and his first on his “home” ground.
