Davidson sets two records
PA Auckland Two New Zealand shortcourse swimming records have been broken by the Olympic representative, Michael Davidson, who is now training in Alabama. Davidson clocked Bmin 15.41 s for the 800 m frees-
tyle, lowering his own record by 9.55. In the 1500 m freestyle, Davidson, of Auckland, claimed the record set by Mark Treffers over 10 years ago when he registered a time of 15min 57.225. The previous mark stood at 16min 10.75.
